As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, check badges, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors as required.
• Follow site-specific access control policies to help to deter unauthorized entry and address any access-related issues in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions regarding directions or site information while maintaining a security-related presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities, security-related hazards, and/or potential breaches.
• Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incident reports, and daily logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support emergency response activities by coordinating with local first responders and Allied Universal management when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
