As a Security Officer - Healthcare Building Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible throughout the location, and engage with patients, visitors, and staff to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Observe and report irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences within the healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with staff and visitors to maintain a welcoming atmosphere while upholding security-related standards.
• Follow Allied Universal training and guidelines specific to healthcare locations and unarmed patrol assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
