As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver - Government in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. This position requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for performing patrols by vehicle and/or on foot throughout the property. You will remain visible to provide a reassuring presence, respond to incidents with professionalism, and deliver outstanding customer service in alignment with Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or sensitive areas as required by site policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Carry and operate assigned firearms in accordance with company and site-specific policies and training requirements.
• Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
