As a Security Officer - Truck Gate Access Control in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in an access control role at a major food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You'll interact with employees and visitors, manage access points, use security technology, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry at the location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed per protocol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client contacts to support access control measures and emergency response activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
