Job Description


As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Team in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, managing badges, and overseeing alarm panels to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and managing entry and exit for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and maintaining a calm, problem-solving approach.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to uphold site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related matters.
  • Provide professional customer service to all individuals at the site, addressing questions and offering assistance as needed.
  • Accurately complete and maintain logs, reports, and other documentation as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
