What You'll Do:

  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and vendors by answering questions and assisting with directions as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual activities to site supervision or management.
  • Monitor and operate security-related equipment such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarms when required.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations, lockdowns, or other site-specific procedures as instructed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
