Job Description


As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Roanoke, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will monitor assigned areas and provide exceptional customer service, supporting the security-related needs of employees and visitors. Your role will involve clear communication and a proactive approach in addressing concerns, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the location.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with access and directions as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
  • Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate and as directed by Allied Universal or site procedures.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
