As a Security Officer - Flex Access Control in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will be responsible for access control duties that help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring entrances, checking badges, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by performing access control procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and security-related protocols.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at the food and beverage facility to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, adapting to the unique needs of the location.
  • Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related duties.
  • Assist with implementing site-specific security-related procedures and protocols as required by Allied Universal and the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
