What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the distribution facility by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the logistics and distribution facility, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with emergency services as directed by site policies.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
