As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driving Role in Spruce Pine, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer where you will actively monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at the assigned government location.
• Deliver customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities or incidents.
• Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any irregularities or suspicious activities according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to various situations that may arise throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
