Job Description


As a Security Professional - Auto Patrol Driver Role in Claycomo, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will perform access control duties, monitor entry and exit points, and conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professional communication will be key in providing exceptional customer service to everyone at the site. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as per site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries related to access control and site policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and client site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual activity.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by the client and Allied Universal.
  • Work closely with site management and other team members to communicate security-related concerns and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Adhere to all site-specific policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment within the automotive industry setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks may be present at this location; adaptability to such environments is preferred.
  • A current Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
