As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Screening in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. You will interact with staff and visitors, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help create a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening procedures for individuals and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors, employees, and drivers in a professional manner.
• Carry out security-related procedures and maintain awareness of surroundings while monitoring access points and controlling entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
• Assist in emergency response activities as appropriate, including communication with site personnel and first responders.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or potential risks to appropriate personnel according to established procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence at designated screening areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
