As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Unarmed in West Nyack, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you'll play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere at a bustling retail or mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to both visitors and staff, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while performing unarmed patrol duties within retail or mall locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and guidelines for retail environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or address potential concerns as they arise.
• Remain visible and approachable to visitors and tenants, assisting with inquiries and reporting any suspicious or unusual behavior observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed, communicating relevant information promptly and accurately.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
