Job Description


As a Security Professional - Access Control Driver in Oshkosh, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. In this role, you will monitor entry points, conduct patrols of assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a strong presence. Your commitment to outstanding customer service and communication will help create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your duties. Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors entering the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Provide customer service by assisting personnel and visitors with questions related to site access and protocols.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities on the property.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents according to Allied Universal procedures and site-specific requirements.
  • Support site-specific emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Follow all site-specific and Allied Universal security-related procedures and protocols while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Working at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks may be preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
