Job Description


As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Shift in Oshkosh, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer and help to deter security-related incidents within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to promote a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities according to company and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local emergency responders when necessary to support emergency response procedures within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activities and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
  • Follow all policies and procedures established by Allied Universal and the client for the specific manufacturing and industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
