As a Armed Security Officer - Community Center in Henderson, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a government location. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remain highly visible to provide reassurance, and respond quickly to various situations as needed. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain authorized equipment while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, staff, and visitors at the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the location.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or unusual conditions that may impact the operation of the government facility.
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required for this role.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
