As a Security Officer - College Campus Patrol Driver in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, playing a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a strong presence to promote a secure atmosphere, and deliver excellent customer service through clear communication with visitors and staff. This is a driving position, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and information, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client contacts to address security-related needs and/or concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
