As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings according to company and client protocols.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or residents while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Follow all applicable procedures for handling access control and verifying credentials at the location.
  • Assist law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain a detailed log of patrols, incidents, and observations during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Must have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
