As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Specialist in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal within a government location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
  • Follow established protocols for managing access control and verifying identification as required by the location.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Complete detailed and timely incident reports and security-related documentation as required by Allied Universal and the site.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and promote a secure environment within the government-operated location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military role.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
