As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Driver Residential in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential community in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal and property management as required.
  • Assist residents and visitors with inquiries, directions, and site access as appropriate to support a welcoming environment.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols to support a secure and orderly residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • This post primarily involves driving and is preferred for candidates with relevant experience.
  • Experience working at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
