What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with incident management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate with onsite personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay information about incidents or issues as they arise.
• Assist in controlling access to designated areas, checking credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site policies.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly for all security-related activities or occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Willingness to work at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
