What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergency situations as required.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate escalation protocols as trained.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by site procedures.
  • Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel at the location when necessary, following chain of command and established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
