Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Auto Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter incidents by conducting routine patrols at an automotive location. You will remain visible, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related situations with professionalism. This role emphasizes providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while maintaining a strong presence throughout the site. What You'll Do:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to client needs and site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct both scheduled and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exteriors, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences around the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or local authorities as necessary during incidents or routine activities.
  • Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential risks or disruptions within the auto industry environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
