Job Description


As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrols in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding promptly to situations, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for individuals on site.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Observe and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or potential threats to property management and Allied Universal as required.
  • Assist visitors and tenants by answering questions and providing directions or information as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with property management and Allied Universal team members to support site operations and security-related initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, patrols, and security-related incidents encountered during the shift.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and property management to support the overall security-related objectives of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
