Job Description


As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Missouri City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic food and beverage distribution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you engage with visitors and employees, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgement and communication skills.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the food and beverage facility.
  • Observe for hazards, unusual activity, or conditions that may require intervention, and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and vendors with directions and general inquiries to promote a positive experience at the location.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to report incidents, escalate concerns, and document relevant activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Candidates must have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • An armed guard card or license is required in accordance with applicable laws and/or regulations.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
