As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Full Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for and report any security-related hazards or concerns within the location.
• Interact professionally with the public, staff, and local authorities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of all patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess three or more years of combined experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related roles, or possess a college degree.
• Must possess an armed guard card or license as required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a current CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
