What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to all personnel and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment for an armed patrol post in a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols within the property and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity, report suspicious behavior, and document all security-related incidents accurately.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as required, following established protocols for government environments.
  • Maintain awareness of site-specific regulations and requirements related to access control, visitor management, and property protection.
  • Work collaboratively with on-site personnel and law enforcement, as needed, to address incidents and support the security-related needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
  • An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
