What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor during high-pressure events.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain order.
• Maintain high visibility throughout the assigned area, helping to deter unwanted activity and providing a security-related presence in the government environment.
• Monitor entry and exit points, checking identification and authorizations as required by site policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports to assist site management and Allied Universal in maintaining awareness of security-related matters.
• Work in cooperation with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following appropriate protocols.
• Remain alert to any potential threats or suspicious activities, reporting concerns according to site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program.
• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
