Job Description


As a Security Professional - Telecom Unarmed Patrol in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, with a focus on areas relevant to technology and media operations.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity within the location.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and/or employees to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
  • Document observations and incidents according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for people and assets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
  • Certification in CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
