Job Description


As a Security Professional - Media Site Patrol in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic Tech Media Telecom location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and offer exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment in a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment and report any security-related concerns or potential hazards found during patrols.
  • Document incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing assigned duties.
  • Support access control procedures by observing entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to maintain the integrity of the site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
