As a Security Professional - Patrol Financial Institution PT in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to support the ongoing operations of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and protect property within the financial institution environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities when security-related issues or emergencies arise.
  • Follow all protocols unique to financial institution locations, including handling sensitive information and interacting with visitors, staff, and contractors in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • A minimum of six months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
