As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible to promote peace of mind, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will interact with people from diverse backgrounds, assist with access control, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and location-specific protocols.
• Support healthcare staff, visitors, and patients by offering assistance and addressing questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Document daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and location policy.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when needed as part of the response to critical situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in customer service, access control or badge systems, alarm panel operations, and comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
