As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrols Part-Time in Voorhees, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, supporting a secure environment for all who visit or work there. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment and escalation as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Remain alert and observant to changes in the environment that may impact security-related operations, reporting observations as necessary.
  • Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and related equipment according to Allied Universal's policies and applicable regulations.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and assisting with visitor management as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in a clear and concise manner, following company and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders to support security-related needs and/or emergency situations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain readiness for potential incidents or emergencies in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by law.
  • Hold a current New Jersey Retired Police Officer certificate.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
