As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Beloit, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting employees and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will use technology such as computers or tablets as part of daily tasks. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities within the location.
  • Assist with controlling access to specified areas and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as directed during incidents or emergency situations.
  • Document all activities and incidents in daily logs and submit reports according to Allied Universal's policies.
  • Participate in training sessions and site briefings to stay current on policies and procedures relevant to the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
