As a Security Officer - Distribution Access Monitor in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and manage access at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your role involves monitoring entry points, conducting regular patrols, and remaining highly visible to promote a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Assist with visitor and vehicle check-in processes, following site-specific procedures for entry and departure.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related incidents.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, suspicious activities, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries related to site procedures and protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following Allied Universal and site-specific emergency protocols.
• Maintain clear and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site policies and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
