As a Security Professional - Government Unarmed Patrols Driving in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, primarily through driving assignments. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. You'll conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $20.73 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter prohibited activities and report any unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client representatives as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence on site to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to those at the location.
  • Assist with crowd control and/or access management during peak periods or special events as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
