As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Driving Role in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a financial institution location. Your presence will help maintain a secure environment, while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. This role is a driving post and requires you to operate company or client vehicles as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry within the financial institution setting.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, offering assistance as required.
• Remain alert to suspicious activities and promptly report any irregularities to management or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client protocols while performing assigned duties at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
