As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver TWIC in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with visitors and staff, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving responsibilities, allowing you to cover various areas and support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies when required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support site-specific protocols.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or incidents, documenting details according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or law enforcement as needed.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying identification and ensuring adherence to entry guidelines.
  • Remain alert while on duty and be prepared to assist with emergency response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Development certificate as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
