As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while providing exceptional customer service to all individuals on site. You will conduct routine patrols and support the overall security-related needs of the location. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to report any suspicious activity.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as required for information sharing regarding incidents, hazards, or security-related matters.
  • Complete required documentation and reports related to daily activities, incidents, and patrols as necessary for the location.
  • Support emergency response efforts and assist with evacuation or other critical procedures when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
