What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location, including responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall environment of the healthcare facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons, in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients by providing directions and answering questions related to the facility and its procedures.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff and law enforcement as needed to address incidents within the healthcare environment.
• Complete required reports and logs documenting observations and activities during each shift as directed by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
