As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Rounds in ORLANDO, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to maintain a secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling government-related locations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and engage with individuals to provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts at Allied Universal and/or site management.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance as needed.
  • Complete security-related logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and/or identification for individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
