As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol Driver in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a security-related presence and assisting clients, staff, and visitors as needed.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in a timely manner.
• Work in various conditions throughout the healthcare location, adapting to different environments as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a current guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
