Job Description


As a Security Officer - Media Dispatch Controller in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a leading technology environment, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities at a dynamic location. You will operate communication systems, manage access controls, and respond to incidents promptly while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Operate as a central communication point for all security-related activities, dispatching personnel to incidents and emergencies as needed throughout the location.
  • Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Receive and document reports of incidents or suspicious activity, coordinating appropriate responses in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatch communications, incident responses, and outcomes.
  • Liaise with Allied Universal personnel and site representatives to relay essential information regarding ongoing situations or policy updates.
  • Assist with implementing security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by management or site leadership.
  • Respond to critical situations and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing established protocols and resources.
  • Support regular communication checks with on-site personnel to help to deter potential risks and maintain operational awareness.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
