Job Description


As a Security Officer - Tech Dispatch Access Control in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will play a key role in monitoring and responding to security-related incidents from a state-of-the-art command center. Your responsibilities will include coordinating communications, managing incident reports, and leveraging technology to support onsite teams. You will help to deter unwanted activity while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources throughout the location as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site teams and local emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all dispatched activities, incident reports, and communication logs for the location.
  • Utilize security-related technology and equipment to monitor site conditions and communicate updates to relevant personnel.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and activities by maintaining awareness of site operations and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate parties.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by providing information and guidance related to dispatch protocols and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
