As a Security Officer - Exterior Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and conduct routine patrols throughout financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment. Your presence and attentiveness will support a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors, while your customer service skills will be an asset in addressing any inquiries or concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the financial institution to help to deter incidents or unauthorized access.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding observations, incidents, and/or activities occurring during each shift.
• Work closely with facility management and Allied Universal team members to support site-specific security-related needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
