As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol PT in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support the security-related needs of the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
  • Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and on-site staff regarding security-related matters and incidents.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the shift to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to those within the location.
  • Follow post orders and specific instructions relevant to the healthcare setting, adapting to changing conditions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
