As a Security Professional - Unarmed Mall Patrol in West Hempstead, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing an approachable presence. By conducting routine patrols and engaging with guests, you support a secure environment and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the retail environment.
• Interact with patrons, staff, and/or visitors to provide assistance, information, and directions as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document incidents and/or suspicious activities according to company and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
