As a Security Professional - Hospital Patrol Driving Role in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter potential security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or local authorities as directed.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the facility, checking identification as required, and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations and following established protocols for incidents such as medical emergencies or fire alarms.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate daily logs and incident reports as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and visitors to support a welcoming and secure atmosphere within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must provide proof of vaccination as required for hospital environments.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
