As a Security Professional - Site Patrol in Gardena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents while conducting routine patrols in a dynamic tech and media location. Your visible presence and attentive approach will contribute to a secure environment, while you engage with community members, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced setting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor and report on any unusual activities or security-related concerns that may arise within the tech, media, or telecom environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and management while upholding Allied Universal's standards.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to support security-related operations and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Document incidents and complete reports as required by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
