As a Armed Security Professional - Retail Location in Universal City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will regularly patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. In this driving and armed post, you will interact with the public, assist customers and staff, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and de-escalation techniques as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and report incidents or unusual circumstances according to site protocols.
  • Interact professionally with employees, customers, and visitors while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation regarding patrol activities, incidents, and/or other security-related matters as required by the site.
  • Adhere to all company and client-specific policies regarding the carrying and handling of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license as required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
